Dholak Deluxe Drum, Cord & Ring - BLEMISHED
Deluxe, Wooden two-headed Dholak drum. Heads held in place and tuned by cords and rings. Held horizontally, both heads are played. In India, these extremely popular percussion instruments are commonly used in folk music and during marriage ceremonies. The shells are manufactured in the northern Indian State of Uttar Pradesh. There locally grown neem and rosewood are used. After transporting to Mumbai the goat skin heads are fitted to the drum shells with traditional leather cords.
Scratch & Dent Savings!!! Product codes ending in "-2" are Blemished. They are New and Unused with Superficial blemishes that may include, blisters in the finish, scratches, dents, stains, discoloration, rust or pitting on metals, imperfect glazes, non-structural repairs such as putty in nail holes, or other surface marks. The irregularity does not affect the playability or sound quality of the instrument. These are a good value.
